Clinica Esperanza was dedicated in April
2005. A part of the Prince of
Peace Home for Girls, it serves not only the girls in the home but also
ministers to a group of Myans who live on the mountain above and behind the
home. They are very poor
and live in small houses without any sanitation systems.
Malnutrition and parasitic infestations are recurring problems.
The clinic provides them not only with medical care which is a
desperate need for them, but also treats them with dignity and respect, a very
rare commodity in their culture. For
